7/13/13 Gratitude Journal

I am grateful my grand kids and their mom and her mom and Carol made it back to Wichita safely.  I am grateful the RV with the band is back on the road.  I am grateful I can crank up the sound on my computer tonight, but will hit the sack.

7/12/13 Gratitude Journal

I am grateful for the time I had with my grand kids (and Ann and Carol) who leave tomorrow.

7/11/13 Gratitude Journal

I am grateful for wonderful kids and grand kids (have I said that before?) I am grateful for good friends in my writing group. I am grateful for rain and cooler temperatures to calm the fires.

7/10/13 Gratitude Journal

I am grateful for the time I had with my dad who died on July 10, 2007.  I am grateful my grandson got a better food tube button today.  I am grateful for cooler/moister days to put out the fires.  I am grateful we still have Foster Lodge.  I am grateful for some time to write last night and I am grateful for my writing group.

7/9/13 Gratitude Journal

I am grateful for time shared with my kids and grandkids.  I am grateful that most (?) of the Sierra Club Foster Lodge on Mt. Laguna is still standing after the Chariot Fire swept through.  I am grateful for a little time tonight to write.

7/8/13 Gratitude Journal

I am grateful we have not heard of any loss of life from the Chariot Fire, but the Sierra Club’s Foster Lodge will be sorely missed.  I am grateful for getting to watch Hitchhiker’s Guide  to the Galaxy with son and band before they go north to their next service. I am grateful my grand daughter is feeling better.

7/7/13 Gratitude Journal

I am grateful I was able to hear my son’s band twice today.  I am grateful I was able to see 4 of my grand kids today!  I am also grateful they are taking a day off tomorrow!

7/6/13 Gratitude Journal

I am grateful for time with my son and his wife and her mom and our friend, Carol, and grandchildren and members of the band, Shine Like Stars (full house).  They had a great time tonight singing at Amazing Faith Christian Fellowship in Poway.  Tomorrow is The Gathering Church in El Cajon in the morning and Maranatha Chapel in SD in the evening. My dining room table is piled with gluten free food, there are zucchinis and tomatoes from the garden.  Life is good. (Most members of the band got to go to the beach today, but we ran out of vehicle room so two stayed home.)

7/5/13–Gratitude Journal

I am grateful that son Dale’s band, Shine Like Stars, is here safe and sound. Enjoyed dinner with them and trying to find transportation for them to the beach while they are here from Kansas.  I am grateful for all of my wonderful family and these beautiful cool evenings.

6/3/13 Gratitude Journal

I am grateful for my beautiful grandchildren.  I am grateful my son’s band will be arriving soon.  I am grateful FX and Faith have wonderful Grandma Ann who knows how to take care of FX and his food tube.
