I am grateful that my son and his wife didn’t finish the container of Talenti Double Dark Chocolate Gelato at Christmas time. I am grateful for a fun memoir class and some time to garden this morning (the first time I have felt up to it in a long time).

I am grateful for a day off to rest tomorrow. I am grateful my son is feeling healthier. I am grateful for my kids and grand kids. I am grateful for time for yoga and meditation.

Tonight I am grateful for the 32 years my late hubby and I spent together. I am grateful for our beautiful children and their children. I am grateful for the double dark chocolate gelato and glass of red wine I enjoyed to celebrate his 70th.

I am grateful for getting to meet new friends and delighted they are as caring and compassionate as I thought they would be from Facebook. I am grateful to be working with wonderful students past and present who are or will soon be healers. I am grateful for tomorrow when I can sleep in.

I am grateful to be in a warm house when it is cold outside. I am grateful for the beautiful goldfinches that visit my feeder. I am grateful that I am getting better at doing what I can do and letting go of the rest. I am grateful for an inexhaustible supply of books.
